MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - May 29, 2014 -- We are excited to announce two new features in CleanCRM that are designed to ease administrative tasks:

1. The ability to use an external CSV list of record IDs to dedupe your CRM. 2. The ability to concatenate the data in specific fields for duplicate sets.

External Record IDs The ability to use an external list of record IDs as the list to dedupe is our first new feature. You can create lists or reports based on sophisticated filters and export them as a CSV. Then, simply point CleanCRM to the file. The benefits to this approach include the flexibility to work outside of your CRM for list modification, improved list access, and the circumvention of public list creation to keep your lists private.

No more support tickets! Our featured feature this week is in CleanCRM. Update CRM Fields is found in the Options menu of CleanCRM, and it is a brand new feature that will provides instant results when you customize your CRM.

When you customize or rename fields and record types, you used to have to submit a support ticket in order to see the changes reflected in CleanCRM. Now, you just have to click one link!

Scheduler is a great tool for Admins who don’t want to use up web service requests during peak hours. Scheduler allows you to schedule a scan at a time of your choosing - overnight, weekends, early morning. Once the process is run, you’ll get an email notification, and the list of duplicates will be waiting for your review. Once you’ve processed them, you can schedule the merge process as well.

How Does Poor Data in CRM On Demand Impact my Targeted Marketing Campaign?

The Data Quality Issue: I have a campaign budget of $20,000 for a fantastic glossy mailer. That budget needs to cover the cost of printing my new brochure and mailing it out First Class USPS. The number of Leads in my CRM On Demand is 5,800. So if I do a quick estimation of cost for the flyer of $2.25 each, and postage of $.85, plus another $.65 for the envelope, label and letter, that comes to over $21,750. Yikes! That’s $1,750 over budget!


Would Your Customers be Excited to Have Their Inboxes Filled by Duplicate Emails?

The Data Quality Issue:

Hi, I’m David Smith, a new customer of yours. I just spent close to $10,000 to acquire your top-of-the-line gizmo. And, I was welcomed to your customer family with no less than six emails; all with different salutations. Let’s see, I was Dave Smith; David Smith; Davey Smith; Dave Smythe; David Smythe; and Davide Smythe. They obviously all had the same email address, so who was the brain surgeon that entered this information 6 times? I tell ya, I feel more like a closed deal than a member of your ‘family’.

The Solution to the Issue:

The immediate solution to the issue is to throw some upgrades and give-a-ways to David Smith to make sure he doesn’t bad-mouth us! That could cost the company up to 10% of the sale.

The next step to the solution is to clean up CRM On Demand! I’ll use CleanCRM to scan for duplicate records. Maybe I’ll match on email address or some combination of city, state, last name. Thankfully, CleanCRM is so flexible that I can dink around with the settings and find what works best for our situation.

Now, I’ll need to go over protocol for new record creation with sales, and make sure they are using CleanEnter. CleanEnter could have caught all these duplicates right at the point of entry. It’s integrated right into CRM On Demand and the results are real-time.

Benefits to the Solution:

So much time could have been saved and so many headaches could have been avoided using ActivePrime solutions. We could have avoided embarrassment, never upset the customer and started off on the right foot.
